Our menu of services, dovetail and compliment each other, to enable HRg to provide a holistic and long term approach to assisting our clients with their people management. These services can be provided on an “as and when” basis or through a retained agreement.

Interim

"This type of service is often useful whilst recruiting for e.g. a replacement HR Director or Manager or to support existing staff during busy periods or to cover maternity leave. It can also be useful as a “stop gap” whilst deciding how to resource the HR function when changes have occurred. One of our consultants would be based at your premises for an agreed number of days per week as required."


Project

Organisations have specific HR projects that are often linked to achieving the business strategy and require either specialist experience or additional HR resource to achieve the project. HRg can carry out project work at our offices in Peterborough or work on the client’s premises if required.

 


Operational

HRg consultants can provide your business with day to day operational HR advice. This could consist of support in areas such as Recruitment and Selection, Employment Documentation, Probationary Period Management, Attendance Management, Disciplinary Processes, Grievance Processes, Leavers / References or HR Policy & Procedures.

 


Strategic

Our consultants have extensive experience of working with Senior Management and Board Members on business strategy and ensuring the HR strategy supports, achieves and adds value. Our consultants will work in conjunction with the SM Team, providing guidance regarding strategic initiatives and their implementation within the business. Strategic input is a long term commitment from both HRg and the client and results in positive outcomes that can be evaluated through tangible measures.

Advisory Service

As organisations do not always require a full time, employed, HR provision, we can meet their requirements through a comprehensive Advisory Service offing for example advice on:

  • Recruitment and selection

HR Audits

For new clients we recommend that one of our team carry out a HR audit so that a general review of policies, procedures and practices can be undertaken.  The consultant will look in detail at contracts of employment, handbooks, policies and other employee documentation and records. They will review these HR related activities for legal compliance and adherence to best practice and draw up recommendations with priority ratings to enable the client to understand and choose the level of action to be taken.

Psychometric Testing

In order to further validate a recruitment decision or support employee career development, we would advocate the use of psychometric testing. We are licensed to administer and interpret tests which focus on ability and aptitude i.e. verbal, numerical reasoning, spatial awareness, mechanical comprehension etc or those which analyse personality and behaviour types.
We only use appropriately researched and externally validated test material, which can be offered in a number of languages. Our service includes detailed feedback by way of both verbal and written reports to both candidate/employee and the employer.
